Full Metal Digger

Hey Diggers,
After being sick on and off for almost 3 weeks I finally was able to get out today. It was 42 degrees, very windy and raining so I wore extra layers. We went to a new section of woods near a castle to see if we could find any hot spots or military camp sites. Finds were slow but steady. I got 4 coins: 1875 2 Pfennig (Imperial Germany), 1834 Ein Kreuzer (Duchy of Nassau), and 2 wiped Kreuzers (1790 - 1804). I found a very nice 1800's bronze ring with a fancy design on it, lots of musket balls (drops and fired), a nice assortment of 1700's buttons including 3 tombacs, and a WW2 U.S. M-1 Carbine round dated 1944. My last signal of the day turned out to be a 1966 bird ring. Here's some pics. Thanks for looking and happy hunting, Dave.
