One of my oldest permissions is a field location that had a one room school house on it. It’s only 10 minutes from my house and I’ve hunted it several times. The last being about 8 years ago with the Etrac. I drove by it the other day and it was in perfect condiion for hunting, cut and flat. I contacted the owner again to make sure it was OK. I wasn’t expecting much but thought I would give it a try with the Equinox. I’m glad I did because the Nox unmasked a few goodies. A 52 Washington, 2 Rosie 47-D and 53-D, a 43-S War Nickel, a 1900 Indian, 5 wheats, a nice silver plated button and a very cool little bug pin. I’m sure having the field plowed several times since I last detected it had something to do with all the nice finds. But, I’m convinced the Equinox can sniff out the good stuff where other machines fail.

A very good decision to go back to that field. Some great finds and your probably right about the plowing. Are these finds in line with what you got there years ago?

I found a Walking half, Barber quarter, a few Indians, V and Buffalo Nickels and wheats. It seemed the stuff I found then was older.

Nice group of coins. Always pays to revisit old spots. It's always surprising when I see what I missed and I think "how could I miss such an obvious signal!"
