1781 half real

After work and a dentist appointment I had 90 min before dark so I went back to my park :cheesysmile:
The half real is in spectacular shape and was DEEP :shocked02:
I've found many, many musket balls at this park over the years...I think they must have mustered there in the Revolution.

Great find Drew and what a beaut! Just an amazing park you have there. Nothing close to that up here - they all seem heavily pounded so I essentially gave up hunting them a few years back. I assume you're only digging repeatable mid to high tone deep signals there (i.e. > 5 inches)?

The amount of 1781 reales ive seen in the last few years is staggering , it must of been a huge mintage number ! What I like about them are they are considered a "Rev-war" era coin and pretty special in my book Drew ! Congrats
