Its been a while since i was on this forum. I have had the v3i since 2009 and originally it was a v3. Sent it to the states and had it converted to a v3i. After a long learning curve {and still picking up little tricks } The v3i is undoubtely the most advanced detector on the market still today. If you savy how to set it up. In Australia the aluminium caps fall spot on to our $1 & $2 coins so i have spent many hours trying to eliminate the caps and i cracked it. I have a short video on youtube and its called Aluminium screw caps against $1 & $2 coins by beepin. I dont know how to apply it to the forum. Regards Pinpointa.
