Its been a month since I last posted I think. I have been detecting a little but I have also been busy with other things so it was a slow November for me.
The pic below is from a field site I took my 12 yr old boy to. Only 2 coins but they are old...1865 and 1868 Indians. My boy found the older and nicer 1865 so he was thrilled to get that.

Another pic below from a different field site. Some interesting relics and a worn 1867 indian. There are a few porcelain doll parts and a portion of a silver pocket watch frame and a turny thing from a latern that has pat dates from the mid 1860's.

Rest of these are mostly from lunch break ventures to nearby parks.

This past Saturday I was sitting on 95 silvers for the year and with the weather forecast I thought that maybe this was the last decent weekend to hunt for a few weeks. So I go to a park I have hunted probably 50 times over the last 5 years and start in an area that I typically avoid due to EMI. My second hole has a 1942 Washington! 2-3 holes later I get a War nik. Then 10 minutes later I find a 1941 merc! About 2 hours later I found 2 rosies back to back to reach #100. I think that was my best silver day of the year.

I can't say that I will not get out again this year but if I do not I am very happy to reach that 100 silver goal. I have to say though that if I did not reach 100 I still have had a great year. 100 is just a number.
