Hi all
Had some drama the past few days so not really up for traveling. Decided to relax a bit and go over my yard and some backyard field once more trying the open screen this time. The field didn't do much but did give up a big knife blade. No markings and broken at the hilt, do no idea to age. Also found what I assume is a ferrule from a scythe or other implement.
But the yard was another story. I picked up 2 items I can't identify. The first is brass and pictured under the knife blade. The other looks like maybe a variation of an ox knob?
I also found some buckles, one being a type I've never seen before, and another a flat buckle with fancy on it. Of course can't hunt without some harmonica reed! Lol
But the best part was a bouncy high tone going between a 12-42 to 12-48 @ 6 inches. Dug down and pinpointed a worn 1912 Barber dime. Rechecked the hole and it had a friend in the form of an 1898 Barber quarter, also pretty worn. All together a great couple hours!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171128/f8f096d5994569adf93365b01e66cbd2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171128/e2c1a45e8dd9f4f8c6590369afa62040.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171128/90f4d86eb6127967224f878214fac0d5.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171128/74a5b3f61fb5a08230bdb86d908dbffe.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171128/1201d696614c1464986f584ed08008ca.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171128/5274fca32f50082a50a608112b4d9031.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171128/ec34bb2a2b67f554f2b3d860ba34e56e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171128/c90d74988806469c2c0e8c1bdc65446b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171128/689b2013bd9f3e5d28ef64136dc7f0ef.jpg
