Made my way away from the house to the top of the original drive way found 2 dateless buffalos the one came out of the ground green and 1 v nickle 1907, a 1961 washington that was hiding under an iron nail, a sterling silver pin ( not sure of date but cleaned uo nice ) , a dateless large cent ( the wreath is barley visible) and finally a odd item I believe is pewter or pot metal that is shaped like horns but has cork on the inside? Any ideas? Thank you for looking & happy hunting

Very nice hunt, gotta love when silver and old coins pop up! No idea about the mystery item, but wondering if that could be horn and not cork?

That pin is really cool! You probably could research the mark on it and find out how old it is. Great finds!

GREAT finds! The horn thing reminds me of the antlers on those fake deer statues that people put in their yards. Poacher probably thought it was the real thing and shot it up! LOL. If you put that large cent in a tumbler with some copper cents and just plain water I think you might be surprised how much detail will show up. Maybe start at 1/2 hour and then in 15 minute increments until you can see the details. Best wishes and HH, Dave.
