On this day in 2009 the American Detectorist metal detecting forum was founded. In those eight years many fantastic finds have been posted, but more importantly, many friendships have been formed.

Thank you to Angie (Epi-hunter) for continuing to provide this forum that so many of us enjoy.

Wow 8 years! Where does the time go? The forum was just 6 months old when I joined. If I recall correctly it was you Tony who encouraged me to join! Good advice my friend.
