This past Saturday I took the kids for most of the day to give my wife a break. We ran a few errands and had lunch at a park that I have done well at in the past. I decided to dig any deep targets that I came across. I found a 12-30 signal one way and a trashier signal the other way. Dug done and out of the plug falls an 1872 H Canadian 5 cent Fishy! I was super surprised to see that! Then I rechecked it and about 6 inches away was a nice 1894 V nik! My youngest son found a nice token but I don't have a pic so I will post it next time.

Then on Labor Day I went on a trip to the spot where I and a friend each found a Morgan among many other old silvers. I only found 1 old coin but its a winner...1860 Fatty Indian that is in great shape!

I hit a few other spots nearby and managed a couple of mercs and a couple more Indians. The relics are a broken spoon end, back of a pocket watch, tiny spoon pin, and a horse reins guide.
