I got up and out before work this morning for another sunrise hunt. Nothing to show other than some clad and a wheat penny dated 1909... I think. It's pretty worn. It doesn't appear to have an S or VDB.
Packed up and went home. With about 20 minutes left before I had to start getting ready for work, I turned on the machine and headed for the back door swinging away. I got kind of a weird bouncy signal and thought... might as well see what this is. Out popped 2 buffs, a war nickel and a silver roosevelt from the same hole. As you can see, the war nickel and one of the buffs were stuck together....my morning hunt was successful because of that hole.... of course I enjoy just getting out, but a good find always makes the hunt complete for me.
The coin spill dates are buffs = 1919 and 1935, war nickel = 1943P, dime = 1948. The quarter I found on my previous 'sunrise' hunt earlier this week.
