Digger Don

Last weekend, Alec and I decided to take a road trip to Ohio for a little hunting.
I had a terrible day, All I dug all day was one Indian which I managed to lose before the day was over and a couple of Chinese coins.
Alec on the other hand had a great day.
The first house that we asked gave us a yes but told us that it has been hunted before. About 10 minutes in, Alec says "Dad, I've got silver". So I walk over and watched him dig his plug. Sure enough , out pops a 1937 merc. As I'm walking away he says " Dad, it has a friend" this time a 1950 Rosie. Before I walked away he says "there's more!" Last one, a 1939 Canadian Dime.
After that, we stopped at a park where Alec proceeded to dig an 1815 Silver 25 centime from Haiti. ( His oldest silver coin).
Then we hit another park where he dug 3 Indians. We door knocked an 1815 house before we left and Alec dug a 1935 Washington. It was a fun day detecting with my son. ( all the driving sucked!!)
