20 minute hunt, a new first!

Hi all,
Got out for about 20 minutes on the way home to a former farm site I've been working for over a year. Until today I haven't found anything of note, but decided to try a few new things- new program and getting well away from the home site and working the opposite side of the property. Lots of old nails, wire, and more modern hunters trash to contend with there.
I wasn't expecting much, but did have one really nice find the like of which I don't remember ever being posted since I've been here. It was tough swinging in the thick underbrush, bushwacking extreme maybe? Using a variation of the tadpoles pattern and combined audio to try weeding through the trash I got a repeatable screaming 12-47/48 underneath some thicker growth. I was hoping "Morgan Dollar!" Instead, here's what i found. It wasnt a coin, but certainly not disappointed! It still has a little plating left too, either chrome or a silver wash.

Here's something I can't identify. Looks like it had 2 opposing reeds, like a directional valve of some sort. Any ideas?

Lastly, a stop back at the zoo on the way into work only produced an old key.

Those hame tops are rare Chris...I've only ever found two. Looks like you have some more area to hunt at that site. I don't know what that harmonica reed looking thing is. Congrats!

I have found several of those double reeds. I think they are for an accordion. They are designed to make sound for both a positive and negative air flow. That is, when the accordion is being either compressed or expanded.

I had no idea they were rare, but probably explains why I haven't seen any posted.
Went back put this morning for another half hour or so and finally found a coin- a 1964 Rosie. At least I got silver! :)

Congrats on the hame top...indeed uncommon. I've only found 2 as well over the years, the most recent coming last year
