Yesterday after I work I detected an old farm house with a new detecting buddy. The house was built in 1914 but the owners told us an older house had previously been on the same spot and burned down. The old brick detached kitchen still remains from the original house.

We hit this site for about three hours but didn't come close to covering it all. I hope to hunt it again.

I ended up with four Indian Heads dated 1887, 1901, 1905 and 1907, seven wheat cents, two Mercury Dimes, one Rosie, one silver Washington and a few relics.

The Indian Heads came out of the ground looking nice at this site. I found four of them and my buddy found two Indian Heads as well.

These three silver coins were all together in a spill.

At first I thought this was a buckle, but it appears to have had a pin back. I accidentally broke it, then glued it back together with Krazy Glue.

Here are some of the other relics.

Nice looking old farm house, pretty sure you haven't even begun to get all the goodies. Congrats on the silver spill (can't remember my last one) and the 4 IH's look great. And that skeleton key ..... :thumbsup02:

What a great site Tony! You got some really good finds. I really like the skeleton key. It has such a distinguished look about it! I've only found 2 but sure wish I had more. Best wishes and HH, Dave.

Great site Tony! Cool finds with the key and pin. Great save on the silver spill! Always wondered why they always seem to lose window crank handles off the old cars. I could never get them off when I was trying!

Looking forward to the video on that hunt. Great finds. Been awhile since I hit a silver spill. Always a great feeling when the pinpointer keeps beeping after pulling a silver out. Thanks for the pics. WD

That buckle is an interesting item Tony , no doubt from the Egyptian popularity craze of the very early 1900's !
