After getting my Son's boat out of storage I decided to hit a spot I hit earlier this year. I was having a great day and working my way back to my car when I got a super 12-46 super deep. I was anticipating my 6th silver and wondering if I might have a silver quarter as the signal was so strong. I dug way down and was having trouble getting to the target. I pulled a handful of dirt and saw a huge green clot in the dirt and thought I had a piece of junk copper. Not being able to locate the source of the green I checked the hole and saw a green round disc at the bottom of the hole. It is really corroded but I can see the "One Cent" on the back. That was a huge surprise. On the day I hit my yearly quest with 5 silver (2 Merc's and 3 Rosies). I also found 10 wheats and a '35 Buffalo and over $7 in clad. Great Day. Alittle electrolysis and toothpick cleaning and it looks like a 1847. I'll let it soak a few days to see if I cn get some more detail. WD
