Here are a couple pics of my finds over the last few weeks. My favorite is the 1901 indian that has AU details in my opinion. I still need to tooth pic some of the crevices more.

Great finds, getting another deep freeze in Wisconsin, so I have to do my detecting on-line. Great finds WD

Nice finds, Buck. I was gonna ask about the IH, but you already said there are a few spots left to clean. The collection looked like the lip on the front of the bust was already done. For some reason I thought the Canadian coins were bigger.

How do you clean your Indians?

How do you clean your Indians?
It depends on a few things. If it is not valuable and heavily corroded then I sometimes throw it in a bowl of boiling hydrogen peroxide. But if it is valuable and in decent shape under the dirt or crapola then I try to tooth pick it only. Sometimes a soaking in some olive oil helps too. Olive oil I don't think will ever hurt a copper coin while hydrogen peroxide will turn the coin brown in color and can pit it as well.

Canadian LCs are about the size of US quarters. I take pics with my iPhone so the edges might be distorted making the coin look smaller than it really is.
