Well it looks like for now the rain has stopped here in Northern California http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/hello2.gif . So out I went for a hunt at a local school . A few coins here and there and a plated junk ring found. About one hour in I had a +35 at 3 inches . I pulled back the plug and saw sweet GOLD http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/headbang.gif. It is a nice little pendent that looks like a snow flake . Next I thought I had gold number two but it turned out to be a junk chain http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/BangHead.gif . When I got home I tested the pendent and it pasted 22k no problem ! I believe it is 24k due to the fact that it is very bendable like 24k would be . I don't have acid to test for 24K . It weighs 2.79 grams , heavy for it's size http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gifhttp://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif. Total clad was $3.70 .
