A Few Keepers, Better Than Being At Work!

It got up to 69 degrees here yesterday and I got out for about 3 hours. I went back to the school yard where there are lots of targets but the soil is tough on the coins.

Nothing to write home about, but I found 2 Indian Heads, 4 Wheat Cents and a 1935 Mercury Dime to avoid the Silverless Drive Home of Shame.

I am mystified by this round object. It has reeds on it like a pump organ or squeeze box reed, but I've never seen a round one before. Weird.

It looks like the insides of a pitch pipe, Tony. We used to use them for tuning violins, timpani etc. Probably a violin pipe as it has four notes. Love the token!

At least it's not too hard to find someone with some knowledge on the subject.... Drew was able to ID that item (as well as Milco to back it up).
