I found this ring deep under ground and it was really bent up so I tried to fix it but I broke it into a few pieces. I later figured out that this was no normal gold ring, the company that made these rings only used gold from the 1800's gold rush. I feel really bad no. I might as well melt https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170209/e5666fbf13ee7dd940048d77ad27c528.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170209/439e76e2951b1d9f6a4dda4f2dfdfb00.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170209/3ac9334ef43eed13cd84c51d64dd2a85.jpg

Believe it or not but a good jeweler can probably restore that ring , congrats on finding the "yellow"

Looks like it was a really nice ring in its prime. Dan is right, there are specialists who can restore and repair items like that.

Definitely have it repaired but don't go to the guy that ruined that silver napkin ring!

Ouch. Nice find btw, but hopefully you can get that fixed. Idk why but it always seems those things "I can do it" turn out to be more work in the end.

Thats a really cool piece!!
Specially since the company that made it only used gold rush gold!:thumbsup02:
Congrats!

What does the stamps say? It looks like it says 10K-12K :thinkingabout:

That's unique too!
Just a guess, I wonder if the band is 10K and the flowers are the 12K... maybe?
