Visiting my Mother's farm in Southern Indiana over Christmas and finally managed to find my first Mercury dime. A 1941 model. My Grandparents would of lived here at this time. I've found a lot of different coins over the years but for what ever reason Miss Mercury has always alluded me. I performed the required "happy dance" LOL.
A Happy New Year prayer for all my American Detectorist forum members. Happy hunting.

Congrats on your first Merc, and she's a beauty! That's odd fact is that I have found more mercs than anything else, other than Wheaties.
