copper and silver

Had a nice drenching rain last night, and cooler temps this evening, so I took advantage of it. Pulled a copper only a detectorist could love (I think it is a matron head, 1816-1836, but mine came out dateless :bangahead01:). Also pulled a pair of mercs and a 5gr silver ring. The ring isn't stamped, and at three inches, I can't imagine it is all that old, but the E-Trac said it is silver, and I believe it when it says the target is silver (I did also test it with the acid). Perhaps it is old, but recently dropped. But it doesn't look old, so who knows

Coppers always a welcome sight thumbsup01 and silver is great!!! :happydance01: Congrats.

Wish we would get a day or two of some nice soaking rain as it dry as a bone here.

Hey Randy, that copper looks like some of the ones I pull up lol But it's still a copper and a thrill to find. Nice couple of ladies you found there and that ring just doesn't scream old to me either. A great hunt though!!

That is a good looking LC compared to several I have found. They do make for a fun find. The ring does look modern to me. But it's silver, and that counts. :happydance01:
