I had a great hunt this past Friday and found 3 silver mercs (1917, 1940 and 1942) at a spot I have hammered with a friend about 4-5 years ago. Also found a 1907 V Nik, 1926 Buff, 1888 Indian and a sweet token! The token states "Billiard Parlor" on one side and "Good for 5cents at the Bar" on the other side along with the name and town of the owner.

Then yesterday I was sitting on 99 silvers for the year and visited a local park during my lunch break. I came across a trashy signal that gave me a slight squeak as my coil moved past it. I thought that just maybe there was a good target hiding...I cut the plug and my X1 pinpointer gave me a sweet sound...12-46 on the Etrac. I knew I had a silver and a scoop of dirt later I saw my 4th SLQ of the year! This one is a smoothie but I will never complain about that!

Today during my lunch I went right back to that park and found a 1942 merc that was a rare obvious silver signal. Then 10 ft away I got another trashy target with a bit of a squeak to it as my coil moved past the target. This one ended up being another silver....1935 D Washington!

Not all of these sketchy signals end up being silvers for me...I dig up a lot of trash and nails and more often than not I find nothing at all in the hole. But I think the more I dig these types of signals the more silver and cool treasures I will find.
Thanks for looking! Jared
