View Full Version : Field Find - Claw From What?

I was out in a field yesterday for about five hours and found all sorts of cool stuff, but no coins. I gave everything to the land owner and forgot to take pictures (doh!) except for I took a picture of this claw. Any thoughts on what it's from?

I know beavers regrow their teeth so maybe it's from a rodent? They're usually more yellow on the end. *hit send too quick while talking out my end. I am really not sure, it may be a bit pointy for two front teeth.

Looks like a worn out canine from a dog or coyote. Too big for a fox I think.
