Was hunting a house that is 1890s. Hit a 12-46 target with the etrac and Hunter coil. There used to be a gravel driveway. Dug through the gravel and into the dirt. Found this SLQ at 6-7 inches. (3rd SlQ for Year) (Pic is a replace in the hole). This coin is as rough as it gets but counts.55724557255572655727

It's a Type I so it has to be either 1916 or 1917. (No stars below the eagle on the reverse.)

I would take that any day!

:congrats:

I looked for the starts but figured they got worn off. You would not think that house is 1890 by the outside.

:congrats: on a type 1 SLQ. Don't get to see those very often, in any shape.

Any SLQ is a beauty! Nice job! I think that's like the 4th or 5th type 1 posted this year!

Very nice, that is one of my favorite coins to dig. Who cares about the condition it is still a beauty in my eyes, WTG.

When I pull out any silver coin It is a great feeling. When it is pre 1932 it is even better when it is a quarter or bitter.

When U least expect it POW. That is the fun of detecting. Never know when a good object will pop out.
