2 towns, several parks, a bit of silver.

Hi all,
Well, the day started as usual with plans to leave around 7:00 AM and visit a town about an hour North. By the time the little lady is ready it was well past noon which really messed up the hopes of a full day detecting. But we still had enough time to try a couple old parks.
The oldest park in town didn't even yield a single keeper. It was devoid of even trash, with only a few eyeballed clad coins. The second park was was much the same until a spot between some bushes and the sidewalk where I scored a 54 rosie and 4 wheats, the oldest being a 1926. But that was the end of the finds in this town.
Stopped at another couple parks in another town on the way home and only got clad, part of a brass pulley, and the usual chuck e cheese token, for a total of $5.52 in beer money.

I had those high hopes on Sunday. I hit Markesan but only managed a handful of clad. A rosie and 4 wheats is always a good hunt. Nice finds WD

You know what they say, a day detecting is better than a day.........well, better than doing about anything!

That was a good day of hunting.

My little Lady went hunting with me once. :hystericallaugh: Just once! :hystericallaugh:
