Last week I hit a couple old parks after work and found a 3 silvers including my first Canadian Caribou Quarter from 1946. Also found a very nice 1887 V nickel.

Then on Labor day I travelled to a spot I have not hit for a few months. I found 2 more V nickels (1907 and 1912) and a penny trifecta. Some early wheats, 3 Indians 1867, 1876 and 1882 and an LC from 1853 to complete trifecta. I put the Indians in peroxide since they were so crusted up and they cleaned up better. Both the 1867 and 1876 are semi key dates and ones I needed to fill my book. The 1867 was in near perfect condition when it was dropped as you can see a full Liberty. Unfortunately the dirt at this spot was not very nice to these guys! No silver for the Labor day trip but I still did REALLY well! Also found a spill with 2 dollar coins!

We all would be very happy with those keepers. Congrats on the trifecta. Can't remember the last time I got myself a V.

Great hunts and nice finds. I don't find nearly as much Canadian money as I did years ago. Not sure why that is.Thx for posting WD

Nice finds. Maybe that could be considered a silver trifecta: nickel, dime, quarter. Grats.
