Might go back today. I told myself yesturday that 6 hours hunting this lot was enough but now i think I should give it another try. I went over it with my F75LTD2 and E-trac. Used Sinray x-5 coil, tornado on F75, Stock 5 inch on F75, Sharpshooter on E-trac, stock coil on E-trac. Don't have many coils left to use on this yard except the NEL big for F75 and Sharpshooter on F75. Might give them both a try there. THe French and Wheats were around 6 inches. SO, I bet the 1800 stuff must be around 8. I surely will find some 1800's stuff at a house from 1840.

Nice selection and almost a quota. That Frenchman was far from home!

Back to 1840s house. Found a 1892, 1905 Indians and a Undated Indian with a 2 i the date. Using my New NEL Snake coil on the E-trac. Was trying a new idea to set the FE at 31. I think it made the coins sound out. This area was high in iron and could hardly get any signal. But using the snake coil, going slow, and opening the screen up to FE 31 made me find these coins I missed before.55230

Might go back today and continue to look for an epic find at this place. It is my 50th birthday today and luck may be on my side. I drew a circle on the photo with a X. That is a iron infested area where I found the Indians and Buff nickel above. Setting my open screen to reject FE 32-35 was able to sniff out the coins with the Snake coil. I think it is giving my Sunray X-5 coil a run for the money. No pun intended

Interesting find. The play money back then here in the US was aluminum. Surprised they used it as a coin in Europe. Well, now the use niobium in coins in EU.
