So this is a summary of the last few months for me. I haven't gotten out as much as the temps here in SC have reached an all time high for this year :shocked04:
Went back to the school honey-hole and searched around a bit, and decided to run my detector wide open so I could hear everything. I get a 60 VDI on the AT Pro and pull out this 14k white gold ring--I obviously missed it because I had the VDI turned off.
Fast forward a month, I am on my way to Virginia for vacation, and I decided to stop and stretch my legs at an old school in rural SC. After pulling a few wheats, I get an 80 VDI on the AT Pro, figuring it was just another wheat. It was a 1944 quarter with a piece of foil in the same hole. This quarter is the best quarter I have ever dug out of the ground, it even has the mint cartwheel! I arrive in VA the next day and I go out to another school in the area to get my metal detecting fix. This time around, I dig a buffalo nickel that sounded like iron, a silver bracelet with a name on it, and a few boy scout/girl scout relics.
Ok, thats all.
HH!
