Hi all,
I tried a "new" park this morning in another part of the city that I had hoped may have a hidden gem. The park was named in the 70s when a senior center was built there, but research showed that it went by a different name from about 1920. Before that it was a privately owned amusement park, and them belonged to a shooting club prior to the 1880s. With so much history figured there had to be something. Well, the answer was yes and no.
The first target out of the box was a 43 Merc. Unfortunately the trend didn't continue. The site has obviously been heavily terraformed over the years. Figured this out when I started getting liquor screw caps and clad at 10 plus inches down. I did find a ghetto belt buckle, junker earring, padlock, old phone bell, and a couple bullet slugs.
