Hi all,
Well, day 3 didn't go quite as I had hoped. Stopped at several parks, some dating back quite far. But as usual they were clean except for a few near surface clad in every one. The only keeper was a 64 rosie that outdated the park by about 25 years. Probably a drop from the roadside. Also found my first dog license, though modern. Odd that it was issued in a town almost 2 hours away-go figure. Thinking I need to find more remote areas north or west to hunt next, maybe a better chance of less detecting going on. Strange though that in 3 days I didn't find a single wheatie or indian. Exact opposite of my last trip.
