Full Metal Digger

Hey diggers,
I did some door knocking today and hunted 2 old homes in a nearby town. I suspect both yards had been detected before since I wasn't finding the usual assortment of doodads and coins. The few old coins I did find rang up as very unusual signals. In fact, the seated dime didn't even sound like a coin! More like trash but since it was 7 inches deep I figured I should dig it anyway. It wasn't until I opened up the plug and was right on top of it with my probe that it started to sound like a coin. The crucifix rang up as a perfect 12-12. I thought it might a nickel but was surprised to see the cross pop out. It's actually made very nice and is not the typical cheapie I usually dig. Thanks for looking and HH, Dave.
