I believe it would be a convention ribbon. Convention ribbons were very popular in the early 1900's. I have a small collection myself.
the piece is in very nice shape for its age and i bet it has an interesting story to tell if it could talk. Thanks for sharing it with us .

That is an incredible fob! I've never seen one like it. And it's now 100 years old!
