Can anyone identify this?

This is actually the second one of these we've found, the other was very beat up. But it's a huge piece of lead, pictured here with what I think is a 22cal. bullet I pulled out of the ground in the same soccer field today. I don't know a lot about shotgun slugs, but a possibility given I've found 4 old paper shells, minus the paper of course, in the same area. 51765

That would be a modern shotgun slug. If it's about 3/4 inch in diameter then it's 12 Ga. Smaller, then it's probably 20 Ga.
