Howdy diggers,
I got in a couple quick morning hunts before work this week at a 1930's church and then a 3-hour hunt Friday evening at my favorite old hunted out park. I found a nice dainty 14KT ring from Turkey as well as 3 silver dimes. My 2010 silver coin count is now 24 and my gold count is 4. The ring was 5 inches deep and gave a solid foil signal. I figured it was a deep nickel (maybe a buff). Funny how you think it is one thing and then something else pops out of the ground! The Rosie came in weird. It was an iron signal one way and a penny the other. It was also about 5 or 6 inches deep and I was very surprised it was a silver. There was no nail or iron object near it so I don't know why it was ringing as an iron. Here's the video. Thanks for looking! HH and on-on.
ACE 250--Silver coins and a gold ring!!

Man I can not believe the stuff you dig with that Ace. Holy cow! Congrats on some sweet, sweet digs!

Nice finds DaddyDigger. That ring is a gorgeous filigree style :shocked04: Way to go thumbsup01 As for the iron reading on the silver Roosevelt? Sometimes there is a small patch of rust that used to be a pin or staple or small piece of a steel (tin) can. When you dig the hole, you disturb the ground and scatter the rust. You then lose that signal. I'm sure there are other scenarios that would also do the same thing. Great hunt!!

Who needs an E-trac or V3i . You sure are doing great with that ACE. Congrats on pulling that silver from a park!!

Great hunts! That ring is very nice, so intricate... Congrats on the silver and gold! Oh, love your marble too, just found one today myself :) I think we all have good marble collections around here lol
