I'd have to say somewhere in the Northeastern US for me. These guys are raiding the US silver mint up there. What's yours?

Whitehouse lawn first of all, but I'd take any monument in DC. Can you imagine the amount of silver coins around the reflection pool?

That is such a tough call. I would love to dig old hammered coins in England, or colonial coin in the NE states. I love Florida for it's Spanish treasure potential, Colorado for it's prospecting, and the Dakotas for the fossil beds.

But, since I haven't gotten all the goodies from here in my own city..... I think I'll stay here for now. thumbsup01

My thoughts exactly. This would be my number one site in the United States.

Locally there are quite a few mansions in the state I would really like to detect but for the big one I would love to do the old worlds fairs sites if they were still around and undetected.

A! there's one place I would love to hunt and it's in Stirling Scotland, close to the Falkirk Rd, The Battle of Bannockburn fields and river where the Scots defeated the English in 1314. William Wallace leading the charge. [size=24pt]FREEDOM

Unrealistically, Fenway Park Boston, although the Mediterranean beaches in Southern Spain would be quite nice.. :shocked04:

The town I just moved to.It was established in 1710,had civil war battles and encampments close by,is 35 miles from some active beaches. It's not where I hunt that is important. It's that I become a better detectorist, know my machine better. That's when my old coin finds go way up.

I would also like to hunt in Europe since it is much much older and have the chance of uncovering something that is thousands of years old instead of just a hundred or two years old. Something from the BC era would be great.
