I got out and had a pretty good hunt this afternoon after work. I had hit this house twice before,, and it keeps giving. Got a 42 merc, a 42 war nickel, a 37 Buffalo, and six wheaties ( oldest was a 27 ). The nickels were on my bucket list.

Always nice to knock one off the bucket list. :thumbsup02: Been quite a while since I've had a war nickel in the hole. Going back to the same site and getting some keepers......priceless.

Congrats on getting one of your bucket-listers! Like the slotted circular piece as well. Any idea on an ID for that?

It was a plastic button, in the same hole with the Merc. Two holes in the slot.
