Two Coppers + Silver

Today I was able to get out for a few hours to detect so I headed to a CT park to see if I could dig up a few of the shiny coins. I did find three mercury dimes, but I also managed to dig up two Indian Head cents, dated 1900 and 1902, and two large cents, dated 1819 and 1849. :happydance01:

I never tire of digging up mercury dimes. :smitten:

The recent coppers I have been finding have been in very bad shape, but the 1819 does look like it has held up well and should clean up nicely.

The rest of the finds - a watch fob, two Indian Head cents and twelve wheat cents.

HH!

That 1819 does look like it's in nice shape, but so does that 1929 Mercury. Brand spankin' new, well under that layer of 80 year old dirt that is  Nice watch fob too.

Great digs as always! What the heck do you do with all these silver coins? Do you have a treasure chest?
