I got out last Friday, Sept.11, got permission to hunt, and on my second dig I pulled this beauty out of the hole! Made me smile! A 1913 Barber half dollar. Philly mint. They only minted 188,000 that year. That would be my lowest minted coin in 15 years of metal detecting. Came up with 2 other silvers, 28 merc, and a 52 Washington quarter. And alot of the normal coins, wheats ect. Pretty good day in all! Let the Fall hunt begin! Thanks for reading.

Nice big silver. I gotta get back to a field where I found one of these bad boys; a different year tho.

Great to see a post from you, Ron! And what a find you made! That is a very low mintage coin and it's in decent shape, I'd say that it is worth at least $100, possibly more. :thumbsup02:
Congrats on the wonderful Barber Half Dollar! :clapping:
