Ordered a sniper coil for my f2 Sunday and it showed up Wed. Got out and played with it for a couple hours and dug up a ring and an earring. Earring has some marks on it but I am unsure what it means. I think its stamped g25 but maybe I'm wrong. Its gold colored and there are more marks but I can't get a good picture

So far I really like the sniper coil and was very happy with how fast kellyco sent me the coil

That earring looks a bit dirty...does it clean up at all? Sometimes they plate silver with gold so maybe that is a 925 earring with gold plating? The stone is probably not what we all want it to be but you never know.

Every detectorist needs a smaller coil for the really trashy spots. I am sure you will use yours a lot.

I don't expect the stone to be real but a little silver would be nice. Doesn't shine up like I think gold would

I agree with Bucknut-looks like 925 to me, so could very well be silver with gold plate. Clean it up a bit and maybe take it to a jeweler when you have a chance. Maybe get lucky? The other writing looks like it could read "Milan", which I have seen on some stuff in the past-often cheap fakes, but better than China!
The ring is a cool find too-nice design at least!

Pretty good find with the sniper. I've just got to break down and buy one.

Nice find. I probably do not use my sniper and large coils enough to know but I am still wondering how much they help. I definitely need to use them more to find out. Nice finds WD

I'm still trying to learn the sniper as it seems that after I locate something by sound and then look at the numbers I am not real good at figuring out the coins like I could with my 8". Just another challenge to take on. But I have fun doing it
