Got out this morning for a local hunt at a school that has given up many treasure since the late 1990's for me . I decided to dig almost every clear sounding target and also worked the side lines under the trees . I started finding clad everywhere . As I moved across the soccer field I got a faint +74 , +68 . It was around 8-9 inches . I was very surprised to see what looks to be a very old lead bullet http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_thumright.gif ! I'm looking for some help on this one , age of it or any info . After that I was working around a small tree and had a sweet +88 at one inch , SILVER http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif! This is the 2nd one of these I have found over the years , a 925 MEXICO silver ball bell pendent http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/hello2.gif. I believe this is dog jewelery http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/laughing7.gif . Other items were a 1987 Hungary coin and a cool old angle pin , very tiny . Total clad for 2 hours was $7.09 .

Interesting finds. I'm now curious about the bullet too.

The bullet might be a .44 or .45 caliber bullet dating from the 1880's !

Nice finds. Bullet almost looks like someone started carving on it. WD

From the pic it looks close to 6/16" or a .380. However the .44 and .45 and as .38 are usually handguns which the tip isn't that long. Usually they are close to 1/4" tip length. Looks like a rifle which they do make a .38.
Anyway. Nice silver. I wonder what the significance of just a ball design was for. Very simplistic. And the loop isn't broken.. Where's the rest of the chain? The coin is different. I was going to see what it was about but you already mentioned it was from Hungary.

I believe the silver ball bell is for a dog . It makes a cool ringing sound .
