went to the local river after work the past couple days and made some nice finds , including this nice half dollar

Wow, nice Barbers. Enjoyed the video. Been thinking about doing some river hunting but not set up for it yet. Your finds inspired me to get going on the water hunts. Nice finds WD

Wow Tom, your killing it on the river this week. Congrats on the 2 Barbers. Especially the half :envious:. Great Find. I haven't been getting out due to the heat. Looks like you found a nice cool way around it.

Nice video! That river must have a lot of history up stream since you found those barbers and indian.

That spot used to have a water slide in the late 18 and early 1900's. Used to be a resort for the wealthy.

Wow, I can't remember my last Barber anything. How do those old coins get in the river? I really like that cane top. Nice job!!

Use to be a water slide there. They had the river damed at that spot. They also had paddle boats I think. It was a resort for the wealthy in the late 1800 to early 1900's.
