It was a busy May with not much time for detecting but I did manage some good finds when I was out. The first hunt was for 2 hours at my grove site. I picked up a nice 1912-D Barber dime. My next 2 hunts were for a total of 7 hours at a new church site I just got permission to hunt. The first hunt yielded 5 silvers and 5 wheats. The silvers are 52-D, 56 & 64-D Rosie's and 19 & 35 Merc's. The second hunt at the new church site produced 2 silvers, 2 wheats and 2 buffalo nickels. The silvers were a 41 Washington and a 44 Merc. The buffalo's are a no date and a 1924. Thanks for looking and good luck this summer.

Very nice finds, Jeff! That Barber Dime still has great detail on it. Interesting stippling on that one Buffalo Nickel. It's always fascinating to see the things people did to coins back in the day.
Congrats on the old coins! :clapping:

It's good see your doing some detecting Jeff. I was wondering if you were getting out or doing alot of golfing.
Once again the grove don't disappoint! :thumbsup01: Like Tony said, that Barber is in pretty good shape!
Congrats!
I noticed the dimpling on the one Buff too. I wonder what that was representing?

Ive been splitting what little free time I have between detecting and golfing. I'm getting ready for our states biggest amateur golf tournament.

Nice group of coins. I've been on an old church kick and it's been paying off as well. Great FINDS WD

The old churches always seem to work out for me. I'm wondering when we will eventually cross paths since you are only a county away.

Cool finds. I like how someone added some personality to that buff.
very nice barber and other silvers Jeff , I bet that Buffalo nickle was in the process of being turned into a hobo nickle artwork.
