Got yesterday and hunted two schools that were in very nice neighborhoods . I was hoping for some gold and silver but only silver was found in the last 10 minutes of a 3 1/2 hour hunt ! After digging clad coins all day I thought I would go home empty handed . I had a very weak sounding high tone at 6-7 inches . Finally some silver , very tiny silver http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/laughing7.gif . It was an old sterling silver screw back ear ring http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif . It has STERLING marked on the end . Then 5 minutes later I had a +20 at 4 inches , nickel ? Not this time http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif . It was a complete 925 silver chain , a small links type . Other finds were a 1994 Kennedy half and a coin from Barbados . Total clad was $10.46 .

I admire your tenacity, Glen! You must dig every repeatable signal, no matter the numbers. You always have so many unusual finds.

Nice digs, I usually find 1 or 2 JFK clads but none so far this year. Thx for posting WD

Nice finds Pl8man. If there was any gold there to be found, you would have found it!

Nice work Glen. :thumbsup01: That's a nice chain. Were you able to get it out in one piece?

Nice little piece of silver and that chain....:smitten:. Gotta ask....is there a certain time frame that you wait before hitting a site again?

If I have hunted a school for about 20 times I will hold off on it for a good 12 to 16 months . Some times It will be like hunting it new all over again !
