How often does this happen to you?

You are driving down the road maybe heading to work, school, or maybe to your favorite new cellar hole and notice a gentleman with headphones swinging away on the side of the road. You wonder if you recognize them so you look again and then realize the guy isn't metal detecting, he's only weed wacking.

The opposite happened to me. One time my mother-in-law told me she had seen me earlier in the day, and asked me why I had been weed whacking at the school. :rofl:

Not for weedwhacking but for actual detectorists. One time I was the one spotted doing a site, and three times saw others at places I had my eye on but haven't gotten the time to ask yet. I think you're mentioning it as a inherant territorial thing always watching out for your territory.

I have never been taken for weed-whacking, but occasionally someone will stop and ask if I am looking for gas leaks.
