Alec and I went out for a while this morning. I should have stayed in the car. I dug 6 wheats, a buckel, a key and a shell casing..
Alec dug 7 wheats, a 1961 Rosie, a 1917 Merc, an 1881 Indian head, a Tax token, a skeleton key, 2 rings, a toy tomahawk head, and a harmonica reed.

later in the day we did another house in a different town. Alec got 1 Wheat. I dug a 1961 Rosie, a 1964 Dog Tag and 4 wheats.

Good finds! The little axe head looks like something to do with the temperance movement during prohibition (which ended in 1933). HH, Dave.

I really like that sales tax token. I've never seen one like it.

What does it say on that hatchet? Washington Watcher? That's a real mystery. Very cool item though!

Congrats to you and Al on all your finds! :clapping:

EDIT: Oh, I see now that it says "Washington Hatchet". :thumbsup01:
