I took this past wed. some war time nickels and sold them. They gave me .50 per nickel and I had $27.00 of them. That is @270.00. And yes I did find all of them in the past.
 
Nice swap John. I think 10x face value for a 40% silver nickel is a good deal. Who would have thought war nickels would ever get you more than 10 cents apiece lol The right time to trade them in. :yes:
 
You must have been saving them for a long time! I think I have about 15 or so that I dug in the last year and a half. It wouldn't even be near that much except my main hunting spot was populated during WWII so most of the coins found there are from that time period.
 
Man even I would have picked them up for .50 each... isn't melt value on them around $1 right now? Nice sale though, great to turn finds into cash any time.
