Stopped on the way home from work today at an old house from 1895. The woman told me that a guy has hunted her yard 4 times since spring, but I was welcome to try. She showed me pictures of the other guys finds. He cleaned the place out, Barbers,Mercs, Rosies, Indians, buffalos, wheats And rings. She said the last time he was there he only found a few new pennies.
I figured I was there so what the heck, you never know. Ok, even the clad was gone. There was a spot along the fence that recently had some bushes pulled out so I gave it a go. I found a 1921 Canadian Penny, a 1945 1 Franc piece from belguim and a 1980 nickel from Bermuda. I also dug 4 old red Jeffersons and 5 wheats. I was hoping for Silver, But these coins are pretty Cool.
