I found these items at an 1840s home I have the exclusive right to detect at. The suspender items were all in an area by a large tree. The buckles were found in different places on the property. The axe is a real cool find as I have not seen another one like it. Im thinking its from the late 1800s? Anyways thanks for looking. The horse token is my favorite find and from all I can gater off the net it is pretty scarce.

The token is about the size of a silver dollar.

Some nice finds and I agree that the horse token is very cool. It must be nice to have exclusive rights to a piece of property.
:congrats:on all your keepers

The homeowner is a good friend of mine and I usually give her most of the cool finds to display at her home as it is on the National register of historic homes. I get to keep all the coins and tokens!

Great token. Interesting how they put a space between the "La" and the "Fayette". An old spelling or an artifact of the minting process? Dunno. Just curious from an old Boilermaker alum!

great finds love the axe head it almost reminds me of a "boarding ax" or midwest style trade ax. is there any way to get a size reference picture of it ??
