View Full Version : Does anyone know how to put a " on a wheatie?
Spent an hour at an old farm house close to home. Only made 2 decent finds and the rest were memorial pennies. Had to be some of the worst ground I've hunted with iron so thick the E-Trac nulled until I stopped sweeping the coil. I found a Rosie and a wheatie both at the base of large trees. I need to know how to put a " on that wheatie. lol There's a couple hundred dollars difference in the value of the plain and a " mint mark. If you can't see the coin dates the Rosie is a 46 and the wheatie is a 14 plain. :crying02:

There are people that can slice it off another coin and epoxy it on that one, but I ain't one of them lol Much easier to take a 1944 D and skim off part of the 4' and make it into a one ;) But like the rest of us, I think you'll just have to be happy with the Philidelohia version :crying02:
