New ETrac Strikes Gold

I recieved my new ETrac on Tuesday after waiting over 30 days on backorder. Today was the first chance I had to put it to work. Went to a park, turned on the machine, and on my first swing picked up this for my efforts. It was about 4-5 inches down. I had my granddaughter with me so she got bored with her detector within an hour. Got a few more coins (no silver) to go along with the gold.

I'm pretty sure the stamp on the back reads 999g. Anyone have a clue to what this means ?

Nice gold. Glad the machine started out on a good foot for you lol Somehow I don't think it will be that easy next time around ;) Great way to pay for that machine...one gold item at a time.

Nice digs! I dug an item with a 999 stamp on it once but the consensus was that it wat not gold... although come to think of it I never did test it with the acid kit I later got. Pic below. I hope you have better luck with yours!
