dug this unusual button today.i have not cleaned it yet.it's a one piece cuff button.anyone ever see this before? not sure what is in center but appears to be letters on it too

That banking pin is really cool. That is an odd button. Could it be numbers instead of letters?

Afraid to clean it anymore.all the detail is being held on with the crust.extra clour back mark.on front looks like it says PART or PAST on top

The cuff button looks political to me. Perhaps "something Party?" The 1933 Chicago Worlds Fair button is amazing! And of course we all know how much Chicago Public Schools have changed the world! :crossfingers:

cleaned it up as best i could . appears to say PART. with open book in center and SHALL? on other side.Religious probably

Does the back say "EXTRA COLOUR"? The middle word on the front looks like it ends in W...bestow, endow? IDK. At first I thought "shall never part" maybe from a bible passage. The extra colour words appeared on the back of some military buttons, although It doesn't appear like its military.

Larry Cisna dug one and here's his and what he said. 1820's era button, that was probably worn by those of religion. On the front is a bible. On one side it has a "heart" and the other side it says "My" the other words around the edge is "Shall never part". It reads, "My heart shall never part" basically meaning my heart shall never part from the word of God. Put what looks to be "sun rays" at the bottom, and the heart will be on the right side of the book. Also, it appears a chunk of the book on your button is missing between the "My and the "heart" Heres one I dug some years ago. Hope this helps.
